Brad Henderson
My Story
Brad grew up in Waukegan, IL, a northern suburb of Chicago. He spent his summers in Laurel, MS, and enjoyed the differences, feeling like he was getting the best of both worlds. He graduated from Waukegan West High School in 1983. His lifelong dream of becoming a Marine was shattered, along with both his knees, during an aggressive volleyball game.
After that, he moved to North Carolina, where he developed a strong interest in investing and real estate. With the help of a mentor, he got involved in every aspect of real estate, from processing mortgages, investing in, flipping, and building houses to managing and maintaining low-income rentals. What an adventure!
Making his way back to Illinois, he applied for and was accepted as an Electrician’s Apprentice in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #150, where he spent the next 25 years working on schools, hospitals, coal, and nuclear power plants, and other fun projects until deciding he needed a change and went back to his first love of investing.
Brad attended Missouri State University, where he graduated with a B.S. in Business with a major in Financial Planning.
As the owner of MacKendrick (MacEanriq) Financial, Brad can combine his talents as an Entrepreneur, Teacher, Communicator, and Problem Solver into one career that helps people take financial control of their lives, bringing them peace of mind.
Brad currently lives in Springfield, Missouri with his wife of 21 years, Heidi, three sons; Bradley Jr., Charles, and David, three hamsters, and a spastic cat named Trinity.
